Sogyeokdong

This store is remodeled and rebuilt on top of the wooden frame of two firm, antique Hanok in Sogyeok-dong, Jongro-gu, Seoul. This space is inspired by the motto, “Again, Fill with Beauty.” To express the inspiration, about 230,000 empty bottles are recycled and are turned into new finishing material to produce the floor, wall, and equipments. Moreover, aquatic plants and flowers clearly present the suitable environment. During the design process, Inisfree and the artist duo Fabrikr have collaborated.
